Orlando Smash the Cake Photographer

🎉 Turning One! 🎉

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a truly unique and beautiful "Turning One" session for an amazing family. They wanted to include a traditional Chinese first-year photoshoot, and it was unlike any western birthday party I had ever experienced!

The highlight of the session was the traditional ritual where multiple objects are placed in front of the baby. In Chinese culture, the chosen object is meant to playfully predict the baby's future career. It was fascinating to watch as the little one explored and selected an item, delighting everyone with their choice. This part of the celebration is a huge event in Chinese culture and brought so much joy and excitement to the day.

After this meaningful tradition, we captured some lovely family photos. The parents also wanted to incorporate a beautiful rainbow theme for the cake smash and bubble bath splash, adding a fun and colorful twist to the session.

It was an honor to be a part of such a special milestone and to document these cherished moments for this wonderful family. 🎂🌈📸
