The birthday setups are designed specifically for your child, so full family portraits cannot be accommodated within these scenarios. If desired, a few parents’ photos can be added at the end of the session using a neutral white backdrop.

A: Birthday photo sessions are a fun and memorable way to celebrate your child’s milestones. The session can include a Cake Smash or be styled without one, depending on your preferences.
Q: Can grandparents, friends, or aunts come to the session?
A: Due to studio space limitations, these sessions are reserved for your little one. Additional guests cannot be accommodated. If you’d like to include grandparents or loved ones, I recommend booking a separate family session on another day.
Q: Is the cake included?
A: The cake is not included due to food hygiene, intolerance, and allergy considerations.
Q: When should I schedule the birthday photos?
A: Most clients book their session around 2 months before the child’s birthday to ensure availability and planning time for props and styling.
Q: Is there a specific type of cake recommended for the Cake Smash?
A: A small cake, about 6 inches, works best. Any cake from your local bakery, including Publix, is fine. Softer cakes are easier for your child to dig into and create fun, messy photos. Cakes can be decorated with themes or characters your child loves. If using colored frosting, check with the baker to ensure the dye won’t stain your baby’s skin.
Q: Can we use something other than cake?
A: Absolutely! You can use fruits, cupcakes, donuts, or any other treat your child enjoys. Anything that’s safe to eat and play with can create adorable, messy photos.
Q: Are outfits included in the Cake Smash session?
A: Outfits are not included, as children vary in size. This ensures you can provide clothing that fits perfectly and suits your child’s style.
Q: What is the delivery time for digital files?
A: Your edited images will be ready within 2 weeks of your session.
Q: What if my child doesn’t eat the cake?
A: Some children dive right in, while others may be hesitant or even upset. You can bring small snacks like puffs or Cheerios to place on the cake to encourage participation.
Tip: Schedule the session after your baby’s nap, or at a time of day when they’re naturally happy and active—if they still take a nap, this helps ensure the best results.

A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.
